You can move after making your block action for a blitz. Not great certainly, but not objectively bad either. Referring to number 4, you're rolling two dice, and not rolling a 1 on either of them. Two dice uphill blocks if the blocking character has block is not actually terrible odds. They are the exact same roll, just one is with pictures on the dice! Most people seem reluctant to take a 3+ dodge but will mash 1 die blocks all day. Taking a 1 die block (assuming you don't have block or other skills) is the same odds as making a 3+ dodge roll. a lot of people don't seem to equate the dice to numbers. A lot of people don't invest in fans, and you can ONLY buy fans at roster creation, otherwise you earn (and lose) fans by winning or losing matches.ĭice. The more fans, the faster you earn gold, and the faster you can build your team and replace players. (10k, but each player takes half the pool). Every 1 dedicated fan is 5, 000 gold added to the match prize pool. I see people burn rerolls on big guys way too much.ĭedicated Fans - Dedicated Fans = Money. Do not use a reroll on a big guy unless it is the difference between winning and losing a game. ALL big guys (Trolls, Minotaurs, Rat Ogres, Ogres, Rotspawns), Journeymen, and Star Players have Loner. Otherwise your reroll gets taken but the dice results will not change. Loner means that if you want to use a team reroll for that player, you first burn the reroll, and then roll a D6, and must get, in most cases, a 4 or higher to actually reroll the dice. The icon looks like an outline of a person with a down arrow next to it. There are players that have skill called Loner. I see a lot of people burn them on red dice, and then they're out of rolls on turn 3. If you fail to pick up the ball Turn 1, all the way in your endzone, is it REALLY going to matter if you take the result and need to spend one more turn picking it up? If your rat fails a rush attempt, is it absolutely critical that he remain standing, or can he slip and fall? Only burn those precious rerolls on things that count. Always try your best to have at least 3, and don't burn them on silly things. I've played a ton of Blood Bowl 3 at this point, and I've noticed a distinct trend of common mistakes that people new to virtual blood bowl make regularly, and I wanted to clear some of them up to hopefully help you on your virtual journey, especially if you're unfamiliar with the Tabletop version and this is your first blood bowl game.
